About

I own features from problem definition and UX through architecture, implementation and deployment. From 2021 to 2026 I was a core engineer at Spot2Nite, working across React & Next.js on the front end and Node.js & Elixir/Phoenix on the back.

What I enjoy most is the hard, end-to-end problem — native modules and geofencing, billing engines, real-time systems, the "simple-looking but deep" ones. Over the past year I've made AI-assisted development (Claude Code) part of my daily workflow. I care about security, performance and maintainability, and I've thrived in async remote teams for years.

Built outside of work, on my own time, and shipped. Both are publicly live — one open source and installable, the other running at its own domain — so nothing here needs to be taken on faith.

Echo Script

Open-source macOS transcription app. Whisper runs fully offline on Apple Silicon through Apple's MLX; a Tauri/Rust shell spawns a Python sidecar and streams decoded segments live over local SSE. Distributed as a Homebrew cask.

Dynamic QR code platform: on-brand code design, geography-based routing, and per-scan analytics. Codes stay editable after printing, so the destination can change without reissuing the code.
